My little C is big on playing with cute little figurines. The smaller the better. Apparently her classmates are into the same sort of thing. My C has been trading in her Japanese erasers (gasp! that made ME sad) for these little toy figures. So, I though they could use a home. That's how I came up with the idea of making this little paper house.
I am fully aware of the fact that this could be dangerous. I've already had ideas of a larger version going through my head—that will be for another day.
I could go on and on, adding embellishments, flower boxes, etc.—but I decided to keep it simple. We'll see what my C says when she sees it.
At her age I was big on dolls and doll houses. It always makes me very happy to see her enjoying the same things—that's why it's extra special when it's something I've made for her.
Anyone else big with dolls? I was still playing with them at age 12! That wouldn't fly these days would it? Sad.
