My digital illustration capabilities are rather rusty. I need to get them going again. Even though I'm definitely not an illustrator it doesn't hurt to get some practice. I go through phases where I want to spend as little of my free time working on a computer, but there are times I really want to play a little. This is the start of an idea I had for last week's Illustration Friday 'moon' theme but I didn't get a chance to work on it until tonight and this is much simpler than what I had originally planned.

I love this! So simple and pretty, I am a confessed owl addict. I love the colors too. I always wanted to be a graphic designer...instead I seem to collect huge amounts of junk to craft with (my wonderful 3 year old had been bitten by the crafty bug as well).
