I know that national delurking week was a several weeks ago but I'd like to declare a delurking week on my blog since it's still January. I loved the fact that through the comments that I got from some of you on my previous post (wasn't that great?!) I was able to 'meet' new people that I didn't know. I don't post very many comments myself so I understand the hesitation but I would love to get to know a little more about everyone that visits here. I don't bite. I promise and I love, love, comments. They are all truly appreciated. All you have to do is say hello! :)
I don't have an actual 'about me' page here but you can take a peek at the one I created today for Crafty Synergy which is celebrating it's first year of existence today. Yeah!
This is a little something I started yesterday. I went to a local art store and bought this balsa wood just because it looked really nice. I didn't know what I was going to do with it. But now I do. I'll keep you posted.
I am both intrigued and amazed by all the tiny cutting you do. I wish I had the hand-eye coordination ... or didn't have the fear of sharp things taking my fingers off!
ReplyDeleteI don't think I've commented here before, but I wanted to delurk and say hello. :) I just started reading A Little Hut, and love it! Can't wait to see what the balsa becomes... its looking very intriguing! :)
ReplyDeletehello! i'm stella, and i'm an intermediate knitter, a novice seamstress, and just barely getting into lino cuts, making my own stencils, other block printing, etc. your work serves as excellent inspiration -- i especially love your tree designs.
ReplyDeleteHi, I've commented before, so I'm not technically a lurker, but just wanted to throw my hat in... I really enjoy reading your blog...
ReplyDeleteI haven't done lino cuts since I was in sixth grade... I think... I've carried all my tools with me through numerous moves because I've always wanted to crack it open again! Your inspiring posts have me thinking alot more often about it... ;)
Hi, I'm kat. I'm a graphic designer. I have my own studio + work out of the house. Some days, I go an entire day without talking to an adult or leaving the house... which can really dampen your creativity. I find jumping online + visiting blogs an easy way to find some inspiration + motivation.
ReplyDeleteI really appreciate your blog – your projects are interesting + creative! thanks for the inspiration.
Hello, Delurking here..I have been reading your blog for sometime. Really enjoy it, you are SO very talented. :-)
ReplyDeleteGreetings from Paris!
ReplyDeleteJust thought I would drop in to say hello (and delurk)! Your blog is fabulous especially your passion for 'creating' and your beautiful photos. Just lovely!
i lurk!!! your work is incredible!!
ReplyDeleteHi, I'm Robyn from South Africa. I have only just discovered A little hut in the past month and am reading through the archives from the very first post and throughly enjoying it. I sculpt in wood so anything about wood intrigues me. The balsa wood pictures are beautiful (I have already snuck into the gallery to look at them)
